Worm composting, or vermiculture, makes the world a better place by keeping food scraps out of the solid-waste system and producing fertilizer for plants, indoors and out. Jock Robie has been instructing workshops on how to build a worm bin and how to compost with worms for many years. Join us for this hands-on workshop to learn how to set up a worm bin and tips for getting started with vermicomposting successfully. We will give away five worm bins to families attending the workshop!

You may want to bring note taking materials.
Please dress for warmth and bring a beverage or snack.
We will be outside for the entirety of this workshop.

This event is for all ages and abilities.
The sliding scale is $15 – $55 per family.
